Description

Comet PanSTARRS Photos 2011 L4 was discovered in 2011 by a Professional Panoramic Survey Telescope, but took over a year to make the trek close enough to the Sun to have brightened up in March of 2013, it then became visible to the Unaided eye for the Southern Hemisphere, after its close approach to the Sun Comet PanSTAARS made its way to the Northern Hemisphere my March 12th and then was visible after Sunset in the West each evening. I captured this close-up shot of the Comet PanSTARRS through an 80mm Refractor telescope, while the Comet was above a cloud bank, shot from Warrenton, Virginia on 03-21-2013.
