This past weekend was The Full Worm Moon…It gets its name from the earthworms that appear when the soil warms in spring, according to Farmers’ Almanac. The moon looked full on Saturday and Sunday nights, Well as you know Saturday night was rainstorms here in Ohio, but i captured it Sunday night after the rain moved out.
Of course the worm is just clip art to help bring a smile, as spring is here now and I prepped my garden and I am so looking forward to the warmer weather.
The Full Worm Moon was captured on 03-28-2021 @ 10:39 pm EST from Dayton, Ohio.
Captured with Celestron C6 Newtonian telescope, Bisque MyT mount and QHY183M monochrome Cooled Cmos camera, a single 35ms exposure.
